Men’s Nutritionist & Registered Dietitian
I’m a male dietitian, who takes satisfaction in helping other men improve their health through nutrition, and lifestyle changes.
We don’t need to continue the machismo stereotypes of previous generations. Taking care of your own health is part of taking care of those who love us.
Let’s take better care of ourselves than our fathers and grandfathers did.

Stop “Toughing it Out” and
Take ownership of your Health and Nutrition Habits
I once had a heart disease patient who shared with me a piece of knowledge his father shared with him in his late 90s. He said:
“If I’d have known I’d live to be so old I would have taken better care of myself.“
As men, we have a tendency to push through things, to “tough it out”. Sometimes, this can be beneficial. But, when it comes to our health, the results can be devastating.
Men have a higher risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and stroke. The risk for all of these can be reduced through nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Yet, too often I’ve seen men defer their health and nutrition to their wives, or significant others.
Too often I’ve seen men disregard their own health, because they’re afraid of being vulnerable.
If you’re like me, you’ve seen too many of the men in your life neglect their health. And too often, that weight falls onto the rest of their family.
But, we have the chance to do better. It’s time for us men to ditch the macho, tough-guy persona, “man-up” and take ownership of our own health.

What to Expect From
Men’s Nutrition Coaching and Counseling
Before I work with my clients I like to arrange a 15-20 minute discovery call to make sure we’re a good fit.
In this call, we’ll discuss your goals and answer any initial questions you have. Then, if we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule our first nutrition session.

Each nutrition coaching/counseling session will last 45-60 minutes, and will be catered to your specific needs.
Most sessions include a combination of education, and goal setting to help you apply the lessons we cover. I often give my clients homework so they can more easily put knowledge into action.
My goal for nutrition clients is to help them:
Are you looking to make some health or nutrition changes, but uncertain where to start? Hit me up.

Men’s Nutritionist
Hi, My Name’s Jon.
When I was 11 years old, my grandfather passed away due to heart disease, and type-2 diabetes. He was the primary male role model in my life, and my family lost him before he even turned seventy.
Today, I work with men to take control of their health, and eat in a way that supports their life goals. As a male dietitian, I account for less than 8% of registered dietitians.
