Are you looking for online dietitian coaching, but not sure what it’s all about? As a Registered Dietitian, and ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist, my nutrition coaching practice is grounded in nutrition and exercise science.
But, all of that knowledge would be useless… if I didn’t know how to translate it into action to help people create positive health change.
My Diet and Health Philosophy
Every single person is capable and worthy of better health. It begins with awareness for how we move, eat and feel throughout our day. With awareness, we can add information and education to help inform our decisions. Then we must take action.
Waiting for perfection will keep you stuck in place. There is no perfect diet. There is no perfect fitness plan that someone has hidden away, and you’re just on the verge of finding. When you let go of perfection, and focus on what progress means for you – that’s when good things happen.
As a dietian nutrition coach, I help clients make progress. In my practice I help clients layer awareness with education, and pair action with accountability. I do that through online coaching.
How Online Dietitian Coaching Works
The key to success is not information. You can be well informed, yet still remain stuck. To move forward you must apply information by taking consistent action. That can be hard to do… especially when uncertainty and self-doubt creep in.
But, when you add accountability, it’s like adding gasoline to a fire. Accountability ensures that education is turned into action.
As a dietitian coach, I provide my clients with education and accountability. By doing so, we create an environment for action to take place.
At the start of nutrition coaching, we’ll discuss your goals and health history. Then we’ll meet every 1-2 weeks to focus on what will serve you best in the moment. One week we might review some nutrition education, and then set goals for the following week. Another session might focus on physical activity. Sometimes we’ll even address stress and sleep, because those are common road blocks.
The focus of each meeting will change, depending on where you’re at in your journey, and where you need the most support.
Making time to eat better, or improve our health is difficult, especially when you’re flying solo, and juggling the daily demands of life.
Why not ask for help?
